What Newegg offers

A tour of the services around the product catalog, with our notes on each.

Catalog and specs

Newegg is best known for PC components (CPUs, graphics cards, memory, storage, motherboards, power supplies, cases and cooling), plus laptops, monitors, networking, gaming gear and a wider range of electronics and home goods. Product pages carry specs, bundles and seller information.

Our take: the filters and spec tables are the main reason component shoppers use it. Always check who sells the item before you add it to the cart.

Newegg+ membership

Newegg+ launched in April 2024 as a free membership. Per the launch release, it includes free domestic shipping on more than a million badged products, early access to new products and deals, member-only deals, extra discounts on product warranties, faster processing of qualifying returns and a dedicated customer service line. An older paid program called Premier was described in 2014 at $50 a year; we could not confirm whether it is still offered, so check current terms.

Newegg Shuffle

Newegg Shuffle, introduced in February 2021, is a lottery-style system for hard-to-find products: shoppers enter, and winners are chosen at random for the chance to buy. It is designed to curb bots and first-come scrambles, but entering does not guarantee a purchase.

Newegg Business and private labels

Newegg Business, launched in 2009, serves company buyers. Newegg also sells its own brands, including Rosewill accessories and components.

Marketplace

Third-party sellers list products alongside Newegg’s own stock. See the Marketplace page for how to judge a listing.
